Born out of the healing work that Nalin and Renoo Nirula were engaged in and inspired by their travels to the Holy Land, Star Light was established in 1998 with the aim of working and training artisanal craftsman in India, especially in the centuries old tradition of cathedral stained glass. Thereby creating devices that are not only aesthetically harmonized but also harmonizing to the environment they are placed in.

Star Light is an artist collective that is constantly engaged in information gathering and exploration. This process has resulted in a range of products that are a result of distilled knowledge of ancient texts, in-depth research and personal experiences. Be it Vedic texts and Vedic science, Chinese Feng Shui, Tibetan Tantra, Jewish Philosophy and motifs of the Kabbalah, the healing powers of pyramids, Egyptology and/or Vaastu, they have all contributed to the development of Star Light products and continue to do so.
